The Affordable Fuel Pricing API returns real-time fuel price data for Diesel, Gasoline 95, and LPG. Each response includes the fuel type and its corresponding price in euros.
The key fields in the response data include the fuel type (e.g., Diesel, Gasoline 95, LPG) and the price associated with that fuel type. For example, a response might show {"Spain":{"Diesel":"1.55"}}.
The response data is structured as a JSON object. It contains a country key (e.g., "Spain") with nested objects for each fuel type, displaying the price as a string value.
The primary parameter for the POST Get Fuel Prices endpoint is the fuel type, which can be either Gasoline 95, Diesel, or LPG. Users must specify one of these options to receive relevant data.
The data is sourced from regulated fuel price databases in Spain, ensuring that the information is accurate and reflective of current market conditions.
Typical use cases include budgeting for fuel expenses, optimizing transportation routes, and analyzing fuel price trends for business operations or personal use.
Users can utilize the returned data by integrating it into applications for real-time fuel price comparisons, cost estimations for travel, or monitoring price fluctuations for strategic planning.
Data accuracy is maintained through regular updates from official sources and quality checks that verify the consistency and reliability of the fuel price information provided.
