About the API:
The Indian Financial System Code (or IFSC) is an 11-digit alpha-numeric code assigned by the Reserve Bank of India to identify every bank branch participating in the payment system uniquely. This code is used by electronic payment system applications such as RTGS, and NEFT.
This API will validate these codes and will deliver the information about the bank and branch that is associated with that ISFC. This will allow you to corroborate if the transaction is correctly set.
Just pass the ISFC code and you will be getting the Bank's name and Branch's name.
This API is ideal to validate any ISFC number before making any transactions. Implement this in your company so you will avoid invalid ISFC and, most important, you will be able to corroborate that the Bank and Branch to where you are sending the money, is the correct one.
Besides API call limitations per month, there is a rate limit of 1 API calls per second.
Validate IFSC Codes of the Beneficiary Bank Branches of all Indian banks before making any payment transfer. Avoid payment rejections by validating IFSC Code of the payment recipient Bank Branch.

The IFSC Validator API returns detailed information about the bank and branch associated with a given IFSC code. This includes the bank's name, branch name, address, city, state, STD code, and phone number.
The key fields in the response data include "valid" (indicating if the IFSC is valid), "bank" (name of the bank), "branch" (name of the branch), "address," "city," "state," "std_code," and "phone."
The response data is structured in a JSON format. It contains a "data" object that includes the validation status and detailed information about the bank and branch associated with the IFSC code.
The API provides information such as the validity of the IFSC code, the name of the bank, branch details, address, city, state, STD code, and contact phone number.
Data accuracy is maintained by sourcing information from the Reserve Bank of India and regularly updating the database to reflect any changes in bank branches and IFSC codes.
Typical use cases include validating IFSC codes before processing payments, ensuring correct bank and branch details for fund transfers, and preventing transaction failures due to invalid IFSC codes.
Users can utilize the returned data to verify the legitimacy of the IFSC code, confirm the bank and branch details before making transactions, and enhance their payment processing systems to avoid errors.
The endpoint accepts a single parameter: the IFSC code, which must be an 11-character alphanumeric string. Users should ensure the format is correct to receive accurate validation results.
