The US Zip API receives ZIP codes as input and provides city, county, state, demographics, time zone, and geographic data.
The API is commonly used for demographic analysis, targeted marketing, urban planning, real estate assessments, and resource allocation.
Besides the number of API calls per month, there are no other limitations.
The GET Zip Information endpoint returns detailed data about a specified ZIP code, including city, county, state, geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude), time zone, and daylight savings information.
Key fields in the response data include ZipCode, City, County, State, CountyFIPS, StateFIPS, TimeZone, DayLightSavings, ZipLatitude, and ZipLongitude, providing comprehensive geographic and demographic insights.
The response data is structured in a JSON format, with a main object containing a status code and description, followed by a "Data" array that lists detailed information for each ZIP code queried.
The endpoint provides information on geographic boundaries, demographic data, economic indicators, and time zone details associated with each ZIP code, facilitating various analytical applications.
Users can customize their requests by specifying different ZIP codes in the endpoint parameter, allowing for targeted data retrieval for specific regions or areas of interest.
The data is sourced from official postal services, census data, and other reputable demographic databases, ensuring a high level of accuracy and reliability for users.
Users can leverage the returned data for demographic analysis, market segmentation, urban planning, and resource allocation, using the detailed geographic and demographic insights to inform decision-making.
Typical use cases include targeted marketing campaigns, real estate analysis, community resource planning, and demographic research, enabling stakeholders to make informed, data-driven decisions.

The free trial ends when you reach 50 API requests or after 7 days, whichever comes first.
