The "Validate Turkish Personal ID Number" endpoint is designed to verify the authenticity and validity of a Turkish personal identification number (TC Kimlik No) based on predefined algorithms and criteria established by the Turkish government. Upon receiving a personal ID number as input, the endpoint processes the data to ensure it adheres to the correct format and checks it against the algorithm that confirms its legitimacy, returning a boolean response indicating whether the ID is valid or not. Turkish Tax Number Validator API FAQs

Each endpoint returns a JSON object containing validation results. For the corporate tax number endpoint, it indicates whether the VKN is valid, while the personal ID number endpoint confirms the validity of the TCKN. Both responses include the type of number validated and any errors encountered.

The key fields in the response data for both endpoints are "isValid" (boolean), "type" (string indicating the type of number), and "errors" (array of error messages, if any). These fields help users understand the validation outcome.

The response data is organized in a structured JSON format. It includes a top-level object with fields for validation status, type of identification number, and any errors. This structure allows for easy parsing and integration into applications.

The corporate tax number endpoint provides validation of Turkish corporate tax numbers (VKN), while the personal ID number endpoint verifies Turkish personal identification numbers (TCKN). Both endpoints ensure compliance with Turkish tax regulations.

Data accuracy is maintained through rigorous checks against official Turkish tax authority databases and validation algorithms. The API ensures that the submitted numbers conform to the correct format and are registered entities.

Typical use cases include e-commerce platforms requiring tax number verification for transactions, financial services needing identity verification during onboarding, and any application that demands compliance with Turkish tax regulations.

Users can utilize the returned data by checking the "isValid" field to determine the legitimacy of the submitted number. If errors are present, the "errors" field provides specific feedback for corrective actions, enhancing compliance and reducing fraud risk.

Standard data patterns include a boolean "isValid" indicating true or false, a "type" specifying either "VKN" or "TCKN," and an "errors" array that may be empty or contain specific error messages. This consistency aids in automated processing and validation workflows.
