The SEO Snapshot API returns on-page SEO metadata, including headings, image alt text coverage, links, and social tag signals for a specified public URL. It also provides plan-dependent SEO analysis.
Key fields in the response include "metadata" (for SEO tags), "headings" (for H1, H2, etc.), "imageAltCoverage" (for alt text analysis), "links" (for internal and external links), and "socialTags" (for social media signals).
The response data is structured in JSON format, organized into distinct sections for each type of information, such as metadata, headings, and links, making it easy to parse and utilize programmatically.
The API provides information on SEO metadata, headings, image alt text coverage, internal and external links, social media tags, and additional insights based on the user's subscription plan.
The primary parameter is the "url" which specifies the public URL to analyze. Users can customize their requests by including additional parameters based on their analysis needs, as defined in the API documentation.
Data accuracy is maintained through regular updates and quality checks on the algorithms used to analyze the URLs. The API leverages reliable web scraping techniques to gather SEO data from the specified URLs.
Typical use cases include SEO audits, competitive analysis, content optimization, and monitoring website performance. Marketers and web developers can use the insights to enhance their SEO strategies.
Users can analyze the structured JSON response to identify SEO strengths and weaknesses, optimize content based on headings and alt text coverage, and improve link strategies by reviewing internal and external links.
To obtain your API key, you first need to sign in to your account and subscribe to the API you want to use. Once subscribed, go to your Profile, open the Subscription section, and select the specific API. Your API key will be available there and can be used to authenticate your requests.
You can’t switch APIs during the free trial. If you subscribe to a different API, your trial will end and the new subscription will start as a paid plan.
If you don’t cancel before the 7th day, your free trial will end automatically and your subscription will switch to a paid plan under the same plan you originally subscribed to, meaning you will be charged and gain access to the API calls included in that plan.
The free trial ends when you reach 50 API requests or after 7 days, whichever comes first.
No, the free trial is available only once, so we recommend using it on the API that interests you the most. Most of our APIs offer a free trial, but some may not include this option.
