About the API:
This API will recognize if a given scene image is Indoor or Outdoor. Based on that it will classify the scene in one of our supported labels.
Pass the JSON object with the image URL of your choice and receive the classification in JSON as well.
This API is ideal for those companies that need to sort their image databases based on the scene. You will be able to sort by indoor or outdoor, and within those two labels, you will receive more information to work with.
Besides API call limitations per month:
Free Plan: 30 requests per minute.

The Scene Labeling API returns a JSON object containing classification results for the input image. This includes whether the scene is indoor or outdoor, a list of categories (e.g., "lake/natural"), and attributes describing the scene (e.g., "sunny," "natural light").
The key fields in the response data include "Indoor" (boolean), "categories" (array of scene types), and "attributes" (array of descriptive characteristics). These fields provide insights into the scene's classification and features.
The response data is structured as a JSON object. It includes a boolean indicating if the scene is indoor, an array of categories that classify the scene, and an array of attributes that describe specific characteristics of the scene.
The API provides information on whether a scene is indoor or outdoor, categorizes the scene into specific types (like "mountain" or "lake"), and lists attributes that describe the scene's features, such as lighting and activity.
The primary parameter for the endpoint is the image URL, which must point to a supported image format (JPG, JPEG, PNG). Users can customize their requests by providing different image URLs to classify various scenes.
Users can utilize the returned data by analyzing the "categories" and "attributes" to sort and filter images based on scene type and characteristics. For example, a user can group images by outdoor activities or specific environments like "beach" or "forest."
The API uses a scene categorization model trained on a diverse dataset of images. This model is designed to recognize various indoor and outdoor scenes, ensuring a broad coverage of common environments and objects.
Data accuracy is maintained through continuous model training and validation against a wide range of images. Quality checks are implemented to ensure that the model's classifications align with real-world scene characteristics, enhancing reliability.
