About the API:
Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) is typically written without short vowels, which helps in clarifying the sense and meaning of the word. The short vowels are omitted since experienced Arabic readers can infer the meaning through the context. But there are cases that even native Arabic speakers cannot resolve. The process of restoring the diacritical marks (short vowels) is known as diacritization. Most of the developed algorithms for diacritization fully restore all the markings, many of which are trivial or unnecessary.
The API will receive a JSON object with the text. And you will receive the text restored in a JSON object as well.
Use this API to restore Short-Vowels present in a text.
Ideal to enrich texts, where the context is unclear, are the need to access short vowels is necessary.
Besides API call limitations per month:
Free Plan: 30 requests per minute.
The Diacritic endpoint returns a JSON object containing the input Arabic text with restored short vowels (diacritics). The output enhances readability and comprehension of the text.
The response data primarily includes a single field containing the diacritized Arabic text as a string. For example, the response might look like: `["بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم"]`.
The response data is organized as a JSON array containing strings. Each string represents the diacritized version of the input text, making it easy to parse and utilize in applications.
The Diacritic endpoint accepts a JSON object containing the Arabic text to be diacritized. Users can customize their requests by providing different Arabic texts for processing.
The API employs advanced algorithms for diacritization, which are trained on extensive Arabic language datasets. Continuous updates and testing help maintain high accuracy in restoring short vowels.
Common use cases include enhancing educational materials, improving text readability for language learners, and clarifying ambiguous texts in literature or religious texts where precise pronunciation is essential.
Users can integrate the diacritized text into applications for language learning, text-to-speech systems, or any context where understanding the correct pronunciation of Arabic words is crucial.
The Diacritic endpoint provides information on the correct pronunciation of Arabic words by restoring short vowels, which is essential for accurate reading and comprehension in various contexts.
