The SIREN number (système d'identification du répertoire des entreprises) is used to identify the business as an entity. It is a unique and unchangeable code as long as the company doesn’t go through any legal changes. It consists of nine digits.
This API will lookup through the provided SIREN code and it will deliver all the related information about that company.
Just pass the SIREN code that you want to look up and receive information like:
This API is ideal to know if the provided SIREN code belongs to the company that provided it to you.
You will be able to make security verifications before taking any action, knowing beforehand if the company's SIREN code is correct.
Also, you will be able to extract relevant information like social media and company websites in order the enrich your databases.
The only limitation is the number of API calls you can make per month. And, also, you can only make 1 API call per second. Besides that, all our subscription plans work the same.
The SIREN Lookup endpoint returns comprehensive information about French companies, including the SIREN issuing date, company denomination, establishments, websites, social media links, and phone contacts.
Key fields in the response include "siren," "dateCreation," "denomination," "establishments," and "contacts." Each field provides specific details about the company and its operations.
The response data is structured in a JSON format, containing a "result" status, a "fiche" object with company details, an "establishments" array for location data, and a "contacts" object for communication details.
The API provides information such as company identification (SIREN), creation date, legal category, main activity, establishment addresses, and contact details like websites and social media.
Users can customize their requests by providing a specific SIREN code to retrieve tailored information about that particular company, ensuring relevant data is returned.
The data is sourced from official French business registries, ensuring high accuracy and reliability in the information provided about companies.
Data accuracy is maintained through regular updates from official sources and quality checks that verify the integrity of the information before it is made available via the API.
Typical use cases include verifying the legitimacy of a company, enriching databases with contact information, and conducting due diligence before business transactions.
