No long-term commitment. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime. Free Trial includes up to 50 requests.
Extract real-time Google Trends trending searches, keyword search interest over time (0 to 100 timeline), +500% breakout surge detection, estimated search volumes, 19 topic categories, and verified publisher news articles across 100+ countries.
You can query over 100 countries using 2-letter ISO codes (such as US, GB, DE, JP, BR, IN, CA, AU, FR) or state sub-regions (such as US-CA, US-NY) across 4 lookback windows: 4 hours (4h), 24 hours (24h), 48 hours (48h), and 7 days (168h).
You can compare between 1 and 5 comma-separated keywords in a single request across timeframes ranging from the past hour (now 1-H) and past 7 days (now 7-d) to 3 months (today 3-m), 12 months (today 12-m), 5 years (today 5-y), or custom date ranges.
Pass the category parameter with any of the 19 supported category slugs (such as technology, business, shopping, sports, entertainment, health, science, games, politics, climate, autos, beauty, or food) returned by the Get Supported Categories and Windows endpoint.
Each endpoint returns various types of data related to Google Trends, including real-time trending searches, historical keyword interest, breakout search trends, and breaking news articles. The data includes metrics like search volume, growth percentage, and topic categories, providing insights into current and historical search behaviors.
Key fields in the response data include `keyword`, `volume`, `volumeGrowthPct`, `isBreakout`, `geo`, `category`, and `items`. These fields provide essential information about search trends, including their popularity and growth metrics.
Parameters vary by endpoint but generally include `geo` (country code), `timeWindow` (lookback period), `keywords` (for interest over time), `minGrowthPct` (for breakout trends), and `category` (for filtering by topic). Users can customize requests based on these parameters to refine their data.
The response data is organized into a `meta` section, which includes request details, and a `data` section containing the relevant information. Within `data`, you will find fields like `geo`, `timeframe`, and `items`, which detail the specific trends or search interests.
Typical use cases include market research, content creation, trend analysis, and competitive intelligence. Businesses can leverage this data to identify emerging trends, optimize marketing strategies, and stay informed about industry developments.
Data accuracy is maintained through continuous updates from Google Trends, ensuring that the information reflects real-time search behaviors. The API aggregates data from verified sources, enhancing reliability and trustworthiness.
Users can analyze the returned data to identify trending topics, measure interest over time, and discover breakout keywords. By leveraging metrics like `volumeGrowthPct` and `isBreakout`, users can prioritize content and marketing efforts based on current trends.
Each endpoint provides specific information: trending searches (real-time data), keyword interest over time (historical trends), breakout trends (fastest-growing searches), and breaking news (related articles). This comprehensive data helps users understand search dynamics across various categories and regions.
