Any account with a verified email can publish APIs on Zyla API Hub and earn from every subscription. Your API stays on your servers: Zyla proxies the calls, handles billing and sends a secret header or query parameter so your origin only accepts traffic from the hub.
New to selling on the hub? Start with Earn with your APIs.
Start from Add new API in the account menu. There are four ways to create a listing:
| Method | Best when | What you provide |
|---|---|---|
| Manual | You want full control of every field | Name, descriptions, endpoints, plans and FAQs, step by step, with AI help for descriptions and categories |
| Postman import | You have a Postman collection | The exported collection (JSON) |
| OpenAPI import | You have an OpenAPI / Swagger spec | The openapi.json file |
| AI agents | You work with Claude, Cursor or ChatGPT, or publish many APIs | Your agent publishes through the Listings API and the provider_* MCP tools. See Publish with your AI agent |
All methods end in the same listing and go through the same quality rules.
What a listing needs to go live
- A name and descriptions in English that pass the quality rules.
- At least one endpoint with an example response.
- Active plans (at least three paid monthly plans).
When all three are met, the listing is published (public) and appears in the catalog and in search.
After publishing
- Edit the listing at any time from My APIs. Edits go through the same checks.
- Endpoints you remove while there are paying customers are reported to the Zyla team.
- An API with active paid subscriptions cannot be deleted; hide it instead.
