CarbonAPI can assist you in calculating your carbon footprint as a result of your emission-producing activities. Our API's goal is to contribute to the fight against climate change.
It’s a simple and cost-effective way to meet your environmental reporting requirements. It may make it easier to track and measure your efforts to minimize emissions. Additionally, because alternative energy sources are less expensive, your company will last longer and you will be able to market it as ecologically friendly.
When it comes to protecting the environment, calculating one’s impact on the planet is a fantastic place to start. It focuses on taking assertive work performed to decrease the effects of climate change. It will also depict you as a forward-thinking firm willing to share your ideas with the rest of the globe.
With CarbonAPI you can calculate the energy in kWh, the flight is calculated from distance and transport is measured by weight tonnes or kilograms and the distance in kilometers or miles. To measure your car footprint, you need to enter the distance driven in the previous 12 months if you're measuring your carbon footprint over a year.
Apart from that, flight emissions can also be calculated. First, the distances between the selected airports are estimated using the larger circle approach. The appropriate emissions factor for the kind of flight (UK domestic, short-haul, or long haul) and the class of seat taken is then multiplied by this (e.g. economy class, business class, etc.). Distance uplift to compensate for planes not flying the most direct route, such as flying around foreign airspace, stacking, and so on, is one of the emissions considerations.
Different emission factors are calculated based on the relative area of the aircraft occupied by different seating classes; for example, a first-class seat would occupy a larger area per passenger than an economy-class equivalent, and thus account for a larger percentage of the overall plane's emission.

Prices are based on a recurring monthly subscription depending on the plan selected — plus overage fees applied when a developer exceeds a plan’s quota limits. In this example, you'll see the base plan amount as well as a quota limit of API requests. Be sure to notice the overage fee because you will be charged for each additional request.
Zyla API Hub works on a recurring monthly subscription system. Your billing cycle will start the day you purchase one of the paid plans, and it will renew the same day of the next month. So be aware to cancel your subscription beforehand if you want to avoid future charges.
